Aikanaan kohtasin tän Wirkkalan uniikin sohvapöydän Habitaressa. Männistön Pepe kauppasi sitä. En päässyt näystä yli, menin pankkin hakemaan lainaa ja ostin tän.
Nyt syksyllä kohtasin heikon hetkeni; olin niin täpinöissäni saada uusi Harley Davidson, että laitoin pöydän huutokauppaan. Lemmetin Galleriassa se oli näytillä paraatipaikalla. Voisin kuitenkin olla kiitollinen, kun lähtöhinnaksi laitettiin niin korkea, ettei pöytä mennyt kaupaksi.
Koska sohvapöydänkään ei ole hyvä olla yksin, hommasin Bukon modernista huutokaupasta sille kaverin. Sarjavalmisteiseen pöytään mulla oli jalat valmiina ja ruuvasin ne kiinni. Pöytä on korkeami kuin kalapöytä ja yhdistelmä näyttäöä upelata.
